(Cubist) reported results from a Phase IIa clinical trial assessing the safety and tolerability of aerosolized ALN-RSV01 versus placebo in adult lung transplant patients naturally infected with RSV. In March 2009, the Company initiated the Phase I study for ALN-VSP, the second clinical program and the first systemically delivered RNAi therapeutic candidate.
