Alto Palermo S.A. (APSA) - ADR operates in the Nonresidential building operators sector. Alto Palermo SA (APSA) is an Argentina-based company engaged in the ownership, acquisition, development, leasing, management and operation of shopping centers. Most of the Company's revenues derive from lease agreements entered into with tenants of the retail stores in its shopping centers. Additionally APSA generates revenues from admission rights, lease intermediation fees and parking charges to visitors. As of June 30, 2011, the Company owned and/or operated 12 shopping centers in Argentina, six of which are located in the Buenos Aires metropolitan area, two in the Greater Buenos Aires area and four in the provinces of Cordoba, Mendoza, Salta and Santa Fe. In addition, the Company is engaged in loans and management activities related to credit card products for consumers of its shopping centers, hypermarkets and street-level stores. APSA also owns certain properties for future development in Buenos Aires and various other cities in the Argentine provinces.
