Cleco Corporation operates in the Electric services sector. Cleco Corporation (Cleco) is a regional energy services holding company. The Company, through two wholly owned subsidiaries, owned one transmission substation in Louisiana and one transmission substation in Mississippi. The Company has two operating segments: Cleco Power LLC (Cleco Power) and Cleco Midstream Resources LLC (Midstream). Cleco Power is an integrated electric utility services company regulated by the Louisiana Public Service Commission (LPSC), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and other regulators, which serves approximately 279,000 customers across Louisiana and also engages in energy management activities. Midstream, a merchant energy company regulated by FERC, which owns Evangeline (which operates the Coughlin Power Station) and also owns a 50% indirect interest in Acadia.
