GreenMan Technologies, Inc. operates in the Industrial organic chemicals sector. GreenMan Technologies, Inc. through its subsidiaries, provides technological processes and marketing programs for alternative energy, renewable fuels and recycled products. The Company has two business segments: dual fuel conversion operations (American Power Group) and molded recycled rubber products operations (Green Tech Products). The molded recycled rubber products operation specializes in the designing, developing, and manufacturing of environmentally responsible products using recycled materials, primarily recycled rubber and providing playground design, equipment and services. The Company's American Power Group's dual fuel conversion system is an external fuel delivery enhancement system that converts existing diesel engines into environmentally friendly engines that have the flexibility depending on the circumstances to run on diesel fuel and compressed natural gas (CNG); diesel fuel and bio-methane or only diesel fuel. In August 2011, it divested Green Tech Products, Inc.
