Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Co Limited - ADR operates in the Airports, flying fields, & services sector. Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO) is primarily engaged in the business of commercial aircraft overhaul, modification and maintenance mainly in Hong Kong and Mainland China. As of December 31, 2010, HAECO provided line maintenance for over 70 airlines and also performed heavy maintenance in three hangars, which had a capacity for nine fully docked wide body aircraft. The Company has three segments: HAECO, Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (TAECO), and Taikoo Engine Services (Xiamen) Company Limited (TEXL). In June 2010, Swire Pacific Limited acquired the remaining 15% interest, which Cathay Pacific Airways Limited had in HAECO. As a result, Swire Pacific's held 60.96% in HAECO and HAECO became a subsidiary company of Swire Pacific.
