Sono-Tek Corporation operates in the Special industry machinery sector. Sono-Tek Corporation (Sono-Tek) is engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of ultrasonic liquid atomizing nozzles. The Company operates in the spraying and coating systems business segment. Sono-Tek has diversified its product offerings to provide coating systems to medical device manufacturers, to provide precision coating systems for clean energy applications involving fuel cells and solar cells, to provide spray drying systems for nanotechnology applications, and to provide wide area industrial precision coating equipment, including the manufacture of float glass, textiles and food products and packaging. The products offered by the Company include SonoFlux 2000F, SonoFlux 2000FP, SonoFlux XL and SonoFlux EZ, SonoFlux Servo, MediCoat and Medicoat II for stent coating, WideTrack, and the SonoDry Ultrasonic Spray Dryer. In July 2009, the Company announced the sale of industrial depanning oil coating system, the SonoCoat PAN.
