TII Network Technologies, Inc. operates in the Switchgear and switchboard apparatus sector. Tii Network Technologies, Inc. (Tii) is engaged in the designing, manufacturing and sale of products to service providers in the communications industry for use in their networks. It sells the products through a network of sales channels, principally to telephone operating companies (Telcos), multi-system operators (MSOs) of communications services, including cable and satellite service providers, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Its products include Network Interface Devices (NID), accessories, Digital Subscriber Line Technology, Intelligent NID, HomePlug, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) products, Switchable Voice NID (SVN) products, Voice Intercom Systems (VIS) products and Fiber Optic products. In May 2010, the Company acquired Copper Products Division (CPD) of Porta Systems Corp. In March 2011, the Company acquired 100% of the stock of Frederick Fiber Optics.
