Triumph Group, Inc. operates in the Aircraft engines and engine parts sector. Triumph Group, Inc. (Triumph) designs, engineers, manufactures, repairs, overhauls and distributes a portfolio of aerostructures, aircraft components, accessories, subassemblies and systems. The Company serves a range of the aviation industry, including original equipment manufacturers of commercial, regional, business and military aircraft and aircraft components, as well as commercial and regional airlines and air cargo carriers. It operates in three segments: Triumph Aerostructures Group, Triumph Aerospace Systems Group and Triumph Aftermarket Services Group. On June 16, 2010, it announced the completion of the acquisition of Vought Aircraft Industries, Inc. (Vought) from The Carlyle Group. The acquisition of Vought establishes the Company as a global manufacturer of aerostructures for commercial, military and business jet aircraft. In November 2011, it acquired the assets of Aviation Network Services, LLC.
