UGI Corporation (UGI) is a holding company that, through subsidiaries, distributes and markets energy products and related services. It is a domestic and international retail distributor of propane and butane; a provider of natural gas and electric service through regulated local distribution utilities; a generator of electricity; a regional marketer of energy commodities; a manager of midstream assets, and a regional provider of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and electrical contracting services. Its subsidiaries and affiliates operate in six business segments: AmeriGas Propane, International Propane - Antargaz, International Propane - Other, Gas Utility, Electric Utility and Midstream & Marketing (formerly, Energy Services). On September 23, 2010, the Company acquired Kosan Gas A/S, which operates in Denmark and is managed by Flaga GmbH. On October 15, 2010, it acquired Shell Gas Polska Sp. z.o.o, which operates in Poland.
