At December 31, 2010, U.S. Cellular provided wireless voice and data services to 6.1 million customers in five geographic market areas in 26 states. U.S. Cellular's ownership interests in wireless licenses include both consolidated and investment interests in licenses covering portions of 35 states and a total population of 90.5 million at December 31, 2010. All of its wireless operating markets are in the United States. U.S. Cellular is a majority owned subsidiary of Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. U.S. Cellular's postpaid customers are able to choose from a variety of national bundled plans with voice, messaging and data pricing. U.S. Cellular offers a range of wireless devices, such as handsets, modems and tablets for use by its customers. During the year ended December 31, 2010, U.S. Cellular launched The Belief Project.
