The Company is a majority-owned subsidiary of Wake Forest Bancorp, M.H.C., a federal mutual holding company (the MHC). The Company conducts no business other than holding stock in the Association, investing dividends received from the Association, repurchasing its common stock from time to time, and distributing dividends on its common stock to its shareholders. The primary focus of the Association is to provide financing for single family housing in its market area of northern Wake County and southern Franklin County.
