Business Description:
Uranex Limited operates in the Uranium-radium-vanadium ores sector. Uranex Limited, formerly Uranex NL, is engaged in prospecting and exploration for minerals. The Company's main focus is the 100% owned Mkuju Uranium Project located in the south-west of Tanzania. The project area consists of 12 granted licenses plus applications covering a total area of over 4,000 square kilometers. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011 (fiscal 2011), approximately 6,000 meters of aircore, reverse circulation and diamond drilling was completed at the Likuyu North prospect. The Company's 100% owned Songea Coal Project is located in southern Tanzania, and covers a total area of over 2,500 square kilometers. The Company's 100% owned Mkuju Uranium project is located in southern Tanzania consists of 12 granted licences, plus applications, covering a total area of over 4,000 square kilometers. The Bahi Project is located to the southeast of the Company's Manyoni Project in Central Tanzania, and consists of 2,300 square kilometers of granted licences and applications.
