Westpac Office Trust operates in the Real estate investment trusts sector. Westpac Office Trust (the Trust) invests in leased commercial properties in Australia. The properties represent investment interests in land and buildings, including integral plant and equipment, held for the purpose of producing rental income. The Trust has a 50% interest in North Ryde Office Trust (NROT), which owns a property leased by Westpac Banking Corporation (Westpac) and used as a data center on the corner of Talavera and Khartoum Roads at Macquarie Park. The Trust jointly owns this investment with Westpac Diversified Property Fund, another fund for, which Westpac Funds Management Limited (WFML) also acts as entity, which acquired the remaining 50% of NROT. In August 2010, Mirvac Group acquired the Trust.
