Carbon Energy Limited is engaged in constructing and commissioning its Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) project in Queensland. The Company is focusing on producing clean energy and chemical feedstock from UCG syngas. The Company's projects include Bloodwood Creek, Blue Gum Energy Park, Mulpun Project, Wyoming Project and North Dakota Border Project. Its pilot-scale five mega watts power plant is located at Bloodwood Creek between Dalby and Chinchilla in the Surat Basin. Its commercial-scale 300 mega watts power plant is a first stage of Blue Gum Energy Park to be fuelled by UCG syngas from its Bloodwood Creek site. On April 6, 2011, the Company acquired exploration assets and options to coal leases located in Wyoming and Montana and joint venture rights in Amasra (Turkey).
