Business Description:
Forte Energy Nl operates in the Uranium-radium-vanadium ores sector. Forte Energy NL (Forte Energy) is an Australian-based company. The Company is engaged in exploration for minerals. Forte Energy has two segments: Uranium exploration in Mauritania and Uranium exploration in Guinea. The Company focused on the exploration licenses in West Africa in the Republic of Guinea and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2010 (fiscal 2010), the Company completed drilling program at the Bir En Nar Prospect in Mauritania. A 5,000 meters program of reverse circulation (R/C) drilling was carried out across 10 uranium anomalies within the Company's Mauritanian exploration permits. In February 2010, the Company completed the sale of its 50% joint venture (JV) interest in the Maroochydore Copper Project, near Telfer in the Pilbara region of Western Australia to the project operator and JV partner, Aditya Birla Minerals Ltd.
