Business Description:
Ausquest Ltd operates in the Gold ores sector. AusQuest Limited is engaged in mineral exploration throughout Australia and Africa. The Company operates gold exploration projects in West Africa, manganese mineralization projects in Western Australia, gold and base metal projects in Australia, and iron-oxide copper gold (IOCG) projects in south-western Peru jointly with Cliffs Natural Resources. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011, the Company secured a nickel project at Earoo (Yilgarn, Western Australia ) and two IOCG projects at Teriwa (Queensland) and Finke (Southern Australia), and established Questdor SAC to conduct its exploration activities in Peru. As of June 30, 2011, the Company's subsidiaries included two wholly owned subsidiaries, Fortescue Resources Pty Ltd and Questdor SAC, and one 60%-owned subsidiary, E&A Resources Pty Ltd.
