Business Description:
Energy Metals Ltd operates in the Uranium-radium-vanadium ores sector. Energy Metals Limited is engaged in uranium exploration. It has two segments: uranium exploration and corporate. The Company has nine projects located in the Northern Territory (NT) and Western Australia covering over 4,000 square kilometers. The Ngalia Regional project is consists of 10, 100% owned exploration licenses (total area 2,840 square kilometers) located in the Ngalia Basin. The Bigrlyi Project comprises 10 granted exploration retention licenses located approximately 350 kilometer northwest of Alice Springs. The Macallan project is an exploration license application (ELA27333), located 460 kilometers northwest of Alice Springs. On August 26, 2010, Valhalla Uranium Ltd (Valhalla), Southern Cross Exploration N.L. (SXX) and the Company settled on a dispute. Following settlement the relevant interest of three companies in the Bigrlyi Uranium Joint Venture are 53.29% (the Company), 41.71% (Valhalla) and 5% (SXX), respectively.
