Sparkassen Immobilien Ag operates in the Nonresidential building operators sector. S IMMO AG is an Austria-based real estate company. The Company focuses on the acquisition, letting and sale of properties, as well as on the development and construction of properties in cooperation with its project development partner. The Company's activities are based around its real estate portfolio, which is comprised of residential, office, retail and hotel properties. The Company operates four geographical segments, including Austria, Germany, Central Europe and Southeastern Europe. The Austria segment includes all of the Company's Austrian subsidiaries. The Germany segment includes German subsidiaries, as well as subsidiaries in Denmark. The Central Europe segment comprises subsidiaries located in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. The Southeastern Europe segment includes the subsidiaries located in Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, as well as located in Ukraine and Cyprus. As of June 30, 2011, the Company's portfolio comprised 244 properties.
