Business Description:

Century Mining Corp operates in the Gold ores sector. Century Mining Corporation (Century) is a Canadian gold producer with its principal mining operations in San Juan, Arequipa, Peru (San Juan Mine) and the Lamaque underground mining project (Lamaque Project) in Val d'Or, Quebec, Canada. The Company is also engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties and mining assets with a focus on gold and precious metals. During the year ended December 31, 2010, the Company initiated underground development at the Lamaque gold project to re-open and advance the operation to gold production. During 2010, the Lamaque Flats zone produced 400-700 tons of gold per day. During 2010, San Juan produced 19,224 ounces of gold. In April 2011, the milling and processing operations at the Company's San Juan Gold mine in Peru have been suspended.
