Second Wave Petroleum Incorporation operates in the Crude petroleum and natural gas sector. Second Wave Petroleum Inc. (Second Wave) is engaged in the acquisition, development and exploration of petroleum and natural gas in Western Canada. During the year ended December 31, 2010, Second Wave had a land base of 111,000 net acres of undeveloped land primarily in the Judy Creek area of Alberta. During 2010, the Company disposed of its interest in certain non-core properties. On February 24, 2011, the Company disposed of certain non-core oil and gas properties producing at Provost with production of approximately 400 barrels of oil equivalent per day. On January 19, 2011, the Company disposed of eight barrels of oil equivalent per day non-operated, non-core interest property.
