Breakwater Resources Ltd operates in the Lead and zinc ores sector. Breakwater Resources Ltd. is a mineral resource company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and mining of base metal and precious metal deposits in the Americas. It produces zinc, copper, lead and gold concentrates. It has three producing zinc mines: the Myra Falls mine in British Columbia, Canada; the El Mochito mine in Honduras, and the El Toqui mine in Chile. The Company's operations also include Langlois. During the year ended December 31, 2010, the Company's concentrate production was derived from mines located in Canada, Chile and Honduras. The Company also owns base metal and gold exploration properties in Canada, Honduras and Chile. During 2010, concentrate produced was 221,738 tons primarily due to higher copper and zinc concentrate production at Myra Falls and higher lead concentrate production at Mochito partially offset by lower zinc concentrate production at Mochito.
