Lundin Mining Corp operates in the Lead and zinc ores sector. Lundin Mining Corporation (Lundin) is a diversified Canada-based base metals mining company with operations in Portugal, Sweden, Spain and Ireland, producing copper, zinc, lead and nickel. As of December 31, 2010, the Company held a development project pipeline, which included an expansion project at its Neves-Corvo mine along with its interest in Tenke Fungurume copper/cobalt mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Company's principal operating mine assets include the Neves-Corvo copper/zinc mine, located in Portugal, the Zinkgruvan zinc/lead mine, located in Sweden, the Aguablanca nickel/copper mine, located in Spain, and a 24.75% interest in the Tenke Fungurume copper/cobalt mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In addition, the Company holds a development project at its Neves-Corvo mine. In September 2010, Edgewater Exploration Ltd. purchased Rio Narcea Gold Mines S.L., a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of the Company.
