UEX Corporation operates in the Uranium-radium-vanadium ores sector. UEX Corporation (UEX) is a uranium exploration and development company. UEX is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of uranium properties. It has18 uranium projects totaling approximately 333,658 hectares (824,487 acres) in the Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan, Canada, including six that are 100%-owned and operated by UEX, one joint venture with AREVA Resources Canada Inc. (AREVA) that is operated by UEX, 10 joint-ventured with AREVA and one under option from Japan-Canada Uranium Company, Limited, which are operated by AREVA. UEX's 100%-owned projects include the Hidden Bay Project (Hidden Bay), the Riou Lake Project, and the Northern Athabasca Projects. Hidden Bay includes the Horseshoe, Raven and West Bear deposits. The Western Athabasca Projects, which includes the Kianna, Anne, Colette and 58B deposits located at the Shea Creek Project, consist of 10 joint ventures with UEX holding a 49% interest and AREVA holding a 51% interest.
