Empresas Copec S.A. operates in the Petroleum refining sector. Empresas COPEC SA is a Chile-based holding company that, through its subsidiaries and affiliates, is active in the energy and natural resources sectors. The Company's activities are structured in three business areas: Forestry, participating in the entire value chain of wood production; Fuels, including the distribution of liquid fuels and lubricants, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and natural gas, as well as in the electric power generation, and Fishing, which comprises the Company's investments in two Chilean fishery zones: north and central-south. In addition, through its subsidiaries and affiliates, the Company has operations established in North, Central and South America. As of December 31, 2010, the Company's majority shareholder was Antarchile SA, with 60.82% of its interests.
