Companias CIC S.A. operates in the Upholstered household furniture sector. Companias CIC SA is a Chile-based company principally engaged in the production and sale of wood-veneered furniture. The Company's products portfolio comprises beds, bedside tables, desks, cabinets, shelves, mattresses, comforters and other modular furniture, which are available in fully finished and ready-to-assemble (RTA) formats. The Company's products are distributed nationwide through such retailers as Falabella, Paris, Ripley, Easy, Sodimac, Construmart, Johnsons, ABC, Din, Venna Muebles, Corona, La Polar, Chile Mat, Hites, Casa Ximena and MTS, among others. In addition, the Company exports its products to Spain, France, England, the United States, Argentina, Peru and Uruguay. As of December 31, 2010, the Company holds a 99% stake in CIC Muebles y Componentes SA. The Company's majority shareholder is Larrain Vial SA Corredora de Bolsa, with 74.28% of its interests.
