Blumar SA operates in the Fresh or frozen prepared fish sector. Blumar SA is a Chile-based company active in the fishing and food processing sectors. The Company was created as a result of a merger between Pesquera Itata SA and Pesquera El Golfo SA. Its facilities, and from its subsidiaries, include fish meal and fish oil production plants, fish unloading warehouses and fattening centers, located in Caldera, Coronel, Corral, Talcahuano and Aysen, as well as a freezing and breaded plant in Talcahuano. The Company is also engaged in the farming and processing of salmon and mussels, Jack Mackerel and Mackerel. Its products are exported to South and North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. The Company owns such subsidiaries as Pesquera Bahia Caldera SA and Granja Marina SA, among others. In addition, it holds minority stakes in Portuaria y Servicio Molo Blanco SA and Cabilantago y Exapesca SA.
