Business Description:
China Molybdenum Co., Ltd. operates in the Metal ores sector. China Molybdenum Co., Ltd. (CMOC) is a joint stock company engaged in the mining, flotation, roasting, smelting and downstream processing of molybdenum products. In addition, CMOC develops its tungsten production facilities. Its principal products include molybdenum oxide, ferromolybdenum, molybdenum concentrate, tungsten concentrate, gold and silver and sulfuric acid. It has six main segments: molybdenum related products (domestic); molybdenum related products (international); processed molybdenum and tungsten products (domestic); processed molybdenum and tungsten products (international); tungsten products, and gold and silver. Its others segment include sulfuric acid and other by-products. During the year ended December 31, 2010, the production of molybdenum concentrates, molybdenum oxides, ferromolybdenum and tungsten concentrates amounted to 31,881tons, 34,040 tons, 26,599 tons and 8,354 tons, respectively.
