Promigas Sa operates in the Gas production and/or distribution sector. Promigas SA ESP (Promigas) is a Colombia-based company that, along with its subsidiaries and affiliates, is primarily engaged in the distribution and transport of natural gas. The Company's activities also include the design, construction and maintenance of natural gas transmission and distribution facilities, as well as it operates a metrology laboratory that specializes in the measurement of the variables on the transport and distribution of natural gas. In addition, through Promigas Telecomunicaciones SA (Promitel), the Company is involved in the telecommunications sector. During 2010, the Company established Compania Energetica de Occidente SAS ESP (CEO), an entity active in the distribution of electric energy in the department of Cauca.
