Arkema Group operates in the Plastics materials and resins sector. Arkema SA is a France-based company that specializes in the manufacture and marketing of chemical products. The Company operates through its three business segments: Vinyl Products, Industrial Chemicals and Performance Products. The Vinyl Products division includes the production of chlorine and soda, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), vinyl compounds, as well as pipes and profiles. The Industrial Chemicals division encompasses the production of acrylics, polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), hydrogen peroxide, fluorochemicals and thiochemicals. The Performance Products division includes the production of technical polymers, specialty chemicals and functional additives. The Company's products have a range of applications and are used in the construction, automotive and transportation, health, electrical and electronics, agricultural and packaging industries, among others. The Company operates through its subsidiaries and has 80 production plants throughout Europe, North America and Asia.
