Faurecia operates in the Motor vehicle parts and accessories sector. Faurecia SA is a France-based automotive equipment supplier. The Company is active in four key business areas: automotive seating, interior systems, automotive exteriors and emission control technologies. The Company designs and assembles seats and makes their principal components. These are frames, adjustment mechanisms, foams and upholstery. The Company also provides vehicle interior products such as instrument panels, central consoles and door panels, as well as acoustic products to optimize soundproofing. The automotive exteriors division manufactures front-end carriers, bumpers and fan cooling systems. Under emission control technologies, Faurecia SA also develops and manufactures several components that make up the exhaust system. Its principal clients are: Groupe VW, PSA Peugeot Citroen, GM Group, Renault-Nissan, BMW and Groupe Ford. The Company operates approximately 238 sites in 33 countries worldwide and 38 research and development centers.
