The Company divides its operations into four segments: Sugarbeet, Corn, Cereals and Breeding & Services. Within the Corn Segment, the Company offers corn for grain, silage corn, as well as oil and field seed and is primarily active through KWS MAIS GMBH. The Cereals segment essentially concerns the production and distribution of hybrid rye, wheat and barley, as well as oil and field seed. The lead company of this segment is KWS LOCHOW GMBH. The Breeding & Services segment is involved in research and breeding, as well as services for the KWS product segments and consulting services for the KWS Group and other customers. The Company operates in several countries and has a worldwide network of research centers.
