Creaton AG operates in the Structural clay products sector. CREATON AG is a Germany-based company that is engaged in the production and distribution of clay roof tiles for the construction industry. Its range of roof tile products includes natural red clay and colored plaine roofing tiles, interlocking tiles, retro-style pantiles; flat tiles, interlocking pantile, concave interlocking pantiles, large-surface flexible tiles and special shapes. The Company's portfolio also includes roof accessories, such as roof decor floor pavement tiles; as well as cladding solutions for walls and facades, including its TONALITY modular grid-cladding products. It is active across central and southeastern Europe. The majority stake in the Company is held by Etex Group SA. As of December 31, 2009, the Company operated three wholly owned subsidiaries, CREATON Beteiligungs-GmbH and CREATON KERA-DACH GmbH & Co. KG in Germany, as well as CREATON GmbH in Austria; and the German affiliated company Oberlausitzer Tonbergbau GmbH.
