1st Red Ag. operates in the Nonresidential building operators sector. 1st RED AG, formerly Stilwerk Real Estate AG, is a Germany-based company, a part of the Garbe Group, engaged in the real estate sector. The Company invests in the retail, office and industrial properties. It focuses on two business areas: Asset Management and Investment Management. The Asset Management segment concentrates especially on industrial properties with growth potential, which the Company acquires, manages and sells for capital accumulation. Within Investment Management the Company focuses on real estate investments and offers funds concepts as well as funds management. As of December 31, 2009, the Company's portfolio included investment properties in Berlin, Bremen, Elchingen, Norderstedt, Stuttgart and Witten. The Company operates through numerous subsidiaries, mainly wholly owned, including 1st Red Retail Properties GmbH, 1st Red Office Properties GmbH and 1st Red Industrial Properties GmbH.
