Unylon AG is a Germany-based company that, through its subsidiary, is engaged in the production of nylon for the subsequent processing of plastic materials in Germany and Europe. The Company's main plant is situated in the Germany-Poland border town of Guben, where raw materials are transformed into plastics for such products as fibers, plastic materials and textile products (nylon). Unylon AG also supplies its products to the electronics, carpet, automotive and medical technology industries. As of December 31, 2008 the Company was majority owned by Pongs & Zahn AG. On November 18, 2009 Unylon AG has sold its wholly owned subsidiary UNYLON Polymers GmbH.
