Business Description:
Sixt AG operates in the Passenger car rental sector. Sixt AG is a Germany-based company, engaged in the provision of mobility services. The Company divides its business activities into two units. The Vehicle Rental rents automobiles, including cars, trucks and holiday cars to corporate and private customers, as well as offering a limousine service and used vehicle sales. It also offers a low-cost rental option, SIXTI. The Leasing segment provides various leasing services, including pure-play finance leasing, full-service leasing, fleet management, fleet consulting, vehicle maintenance, service packages in the case of accidents, among others. The Company also operates a network of partner companies in the international tourism industry, including airlines and hotel chains. As of December 31, 2010, it had 1,852 service stations worldwide, from which 510 were in Germany.
