F. Reichelt AG operates in the Drugs, proprietaries, and sundries sector. F. Reichelt AG is a Germany-based company engaged in investments in other companies, particularly from the pharmaceutical sector, as well as in the administration of real estate assets. The Company was previously a wholesale company to the pharmaceutical business in northern Germany. Since 1994, this business has been leased to Phoenix Pharmahandel AG & Co., a Germany-based company engaged in the pharmaceutical sector, mainly in the production of drugs and health products, in return for a partnership stake in the Company. As of December 31, 2010, the Company's wholly owned Germany-based subsidiaries included Efeka Friedrich & Kaufmann GmbH & Co. KG, GENRO Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, Preuss & Kuhn-Temmler GmbH, F. Reichelt GmbH, F. Reichelt Beteiligungs GmbH, F. Reichelt GmbH Pharmahandlung, PROSALES Export-Import GmbH and Chemtrans Pharma GmbH, among others.
