Westgrund AG operates in the Nonresidential building operators sector. Westgrund AG is a Germany-based holding company that, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the real estate sector. The Company divides its business activities into two segments. The segment Real Estate Management focuses on acquisition, renting and value increase of its real estate. Within the Project Development segment, the Company plans and realizes building projects. Westgrund AG is active only in Germany and concentrates on the western region of Germany. In addition, it provides related services, including financing, energy consulting, management, real estate brokerage and others. It invests in companies from real estate sector, such as residential properties, brokerage, project development and asset management companies. As of December 31, 2009, the Company operated 20 subsidiaries, including Westgrund Immobilien Beteiligung GmbH & Co. KG, Westgrund Immobilien Beteiligung GmbH & Co. KG as well as Projektgesellschaft Deutz Muehlheimer Strasse Koeln GmbH & Co. KG, among others.
