Power Asset Holdings Ltd. operates in the Electric services sector. Power Assets Holdings Limited (Power Assets), formerly Hongkong Electric Holdings Limited, is an investment holding company. Through its subsidiaries it is engaged in the generation and supply of electricity and investment in power and utility related businesses. Power Assets has three major subsidiaries in Hong Kong: The Hongkong Electric Company, Ltd (HK Electric), Power Assets Investments Ltd (PAI) and Associated Technical Services Limited (ATS). The Company's other subsidiaries include HEH (Electric Vehicles) Company Limited, Hongkong Electric (Natural Gas) Limited, Hongkong Electric Finance Limited, HEI Investment Holdings Limited and Sigerson Business Corp. On October 29, 2010, the Company completed the acquisition of EDF Energy plc's ownership of its United Kingdom regulated and non-regulated network activities. In June 2010, it acquired 25% interest in Seabank Power Limited. During the year ended December 31, 2010, the Company acquired a 40% interest in UK Power Networks.
