Hsil Limited operates in the Vitreous plumbing fixtures sector. HSIL Limited is engaged in manufacturing of sanitaryware products and container glass. It operates in two business segments: sanitaryware and glassware. As of March 31, 2011, it exports 10% of its production to Africa and South East Asia. Its products include Sanitaryware, Wellness, Faucets, Kitchen appliances, Container Glass. Its brands include Hindware, Hindware Art, Hindware Italian Collection, Raasi, Keramag, Hindware Lacasa and Benelave. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2011(fiscal 2011), the Company acquired the chrome plated (CP) Bathroom fittings business of Havells India Ltd. On June 24, 2010, the Company acquired 100% interest in Barwood Products Limited. During fiscal 2011, it acquired a China Clay mine in Andhra Pradesh. During fiscal 2011, it launched the Cornice Collection, an ensemble of sanitaryware products, vitrified tiles and faucets.
