Premier Limited operates in the Machine tools, metal cutting types sector. Premier Limited operates in two segments: Engineering and Automobile. The Engineering segment has two activities: CNC machine tools and engineering. Engineering segment is engaged in engineering, manufacturing of machine tools of gear cutting, vertical and horizontal machining centre and special purpose machines, specialized engineering solution for various applications, machining of precision components, sub-assemblies. The Automotive segment consists of light and sports utility vehicles. Automotive segment is engaged in assembly of vehicles from imported painted bodies and indigenous production of vehicle bodies (yet to commence). During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2011 (fiscal 2011), the Company produced a number of 708 vehicles and 101 engineering (including machine tools).
