PT Kalbe Farma operates in the Pharmaceutical preparations sector. PT Kalbe Farma Tbk is an Indonesia-based pharmaceutical company. It has four core business segments, namely prescription pharmaceutical, consumer health, nutritionals, and distribution. Under the prescription pharmaceuticals division, the Company is engaged in the development, production and distribution of pharmaceutical products for human and animals. The prescription pharmaceuticals products consist of licensed drugs, branded drugs and branded generics. The products under consumer health division include over-the-counter products and energy drinks. Nutritionals division consists of powder milk products for various age segments. The Company is supported by a distribution network, which is run by its subsidiary, PT Enseval Putera Megatrading Tbk, also a listed company (EPMT-JK). The Company currently has 20 subsidiaries which are engaged in pharmaceuticals, health food (nutritionals) and distribution.
