Ovoca Gold PLC operates in the Gold ores sector. Ovoca Gold plc is a gold exploration and mine development company focused on gold and silver deposits in Russia. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had two segments: exploration activities and investment. The company has three projects, namely, Stakhanovsky, Rassoshinskaya, and Nevsko-Pestrinskoye properties located in the Magadan Region, Russia. Stakhanovsky is located approximately 40 kilometers north of Susuman. Its Stakhanovsky property's resource is 350,000 ounces gold under the inferred category. Rassoshinskaya is in the northeastern part of the Magadan Region about 200 kilometers from the town of Seimchan. Rassoshinskaya property's resource is 344,000 ounces gold under the inferred category. Nevsko-Pestrinskoye is located in the central part of the Magadan Region near the town of Omsukchan. On 15 January 2010, the Company acquired 100% interests in Magsel, Bulun and Olymp.
