Lion Corporation operates in the Soap and other detergents sector. Lion Corporation is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of health care products, household products and chemicals. The Company operates in four business segments. The Health Care segment manufactures and sells toothpastes, toothbrushes, hand soaps, antipyretic and analgesic agents, eye drops, energy drinks and insecticides, among others. The Household segment manufactures and sells laundry detergents, kitchen cleaners, softeners, household cleaners and bleaches. The Chemicals segment manufactures and sells oil surfactants, conductive carbon and others. The Others segment is involved in the design, installation and maintenance of equipment, the transportation and storage of its products, as well as the real estate, insurance-related and welfare businesses. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had 25 subsidiaries and 12 associated companies.
