The Company operates in two business segments. The Network segment rebroadcasts television (TV) shows of NHK and other private channels, and broadcasts special programs acquired from other vendors and shows produced by the Company. This segment is also engaged in the provision of Internet services and fixed-line phone services through cable TV infrastructures. The Cinema Entertainment segment operates three movie theatres through its subsidiary. This segment is also involved in the promotional activities, the establishment of satellite studios, as well as the organizing of events and the provision of local news. On October 1, 2011, the Company merged with a Nagoya-based wholly owned subsidiary.
