SK Holdings Company Limited operates in the Crude petroleum and natural gas sector. SK Holdings Co Ltd is a Korea-based holding company mainly engaged in the management of its subsidiaries. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had eight subsidiaries: SK Innovation, formerly known as SK Energy Co., Ltd., engaged in the oil development business; SK TELECOM CO.,LTD, an integrated telecommunications service provider; SK Networks Company Limited, engaged in the trading of petroleum products, chemicals, steels and communication devices, and SK Engineering & Construction co., ltd, SK E&S, SK SHIPPING CO., LTD, K-Power Co., Ltd. and SKC, engaged in construction, integrated energy service, marine transportation, thermal power generation and magnetic and optical media manufacturing businesses. The Company was also engaged in life science business, which develops new drugs and pharmaceutical intermediates. It completed the spin-off of its life science business, effective April 1, 2011.
