Its Underwater services segment is engaged in the provision of offshore facilities construction and installation services, such as marine construction related services, sub-sea engineering services and offshore pipeline construction related services and designing, manufacturing and operating of remotely operated vehicles (ROVs). On January 1, 2010, the Company, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Alam Maritim (L) Inc., acquired certain interest in EASTAR Offshore Pte Ltd. (EASTAR).
