The Company operates in three segments: audio division, which is engaged in manufacturing, assembly and sales of speaker units and multimedia speaker systems, including component parts; chemical division, which is engaged in manufacturing and sales of specialized chemical paints, and electrical equipment division, which is engaged in manufacturing and distribution of electrical equipment. It operates wholly in Malaysia. Its subsidiaries include Formosa Prosonic Technics Sdn.Bhd.(FPT), Formosa Prosonic Chemicals Sdn. Bhd. and Formosa Prosonic Equipment Sdn. Bhd. On May 19, 2009, Formosa Prosonic Chemicals Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company disposed its 30% interest in Musashi Paint Corporation Sdn Bhd.
