Tower Real Estate Investment Trust operates in the Real estate investment trusts sector. Tower Real Estate Investment Trust (Tower REIT) is a Malaysia-based real estate investment trust. The principal activity of the Company is to own and invest in a portfolio of commercial properties in Malaysia. The Company invests in a portfolio of office buildings and commercial properties. As of December 31, 2010, Tower REIT's investment portfolio included three commercial office buildings situated in the Klang Valley, Menara HLA, HP Towers and Menara ING. As of December 31, 2010, the combined total net lettable area of the portfolio was 907,289 square feet. At least 75% of the Company's gross assets value (GAV) is invested in real estate, real estate-related assets and/or liquid assets, out of which at least 50% of the GAV is invested in real estate and/or single-purpose companies, whose principal assets comprise real estate and the remaining 25% may be invested in any other permitted investments. GLM REIT Management Sdn Bhd is the manager of Tower REIT.
