The Company's activities are divided into four business units: the Consumer unit, which delivers navigation devices for cars and mobile communication equipment for the consumer market; the Automotive unit, which sells navigation equipment to car manufacturers; the Licensing unit, which licenses for the production of TomTom products such as Tele Atlas to other manufacturers and internet providers; the Business Solutions unit, which provides navigation and fleet management solutions for professional fleets. The Company's product portfolio includes built-in and mobile navigation and location equipment for cars, cyclists and mobile phones, road map software and accessories for its devices such as mounts, cables and bags. TomTom NV operates through its subsidiaries, including TomTom Inc, TomTom Asia Ltd, Phonetic Topographics NV, Tele Atlas GmbH, Tele Atlas Polska Sp. z o.o. and others.
