Indus Motors Co Ltd operates in the Motor vehicles and car bodies sector. Indus Motor Company Limited (IMC) is a Pakistan-based company engaged in the auto and trucks manufacturing industry. The Company is a joint-venture between the House of Habib, Toyota Motor Corporation and Toyota Tsusho Corporation for assembling, progressive manufacturing and marketing of Toyota-branded vehicles in Pakistan. It also acts as the sole distributor of Toyota-branded vehicles in Pakistan. In addition, the Company also acts as the sole distributor of Daihatsu-branded vehicles in Pakistan and has a license for assembling, progressive manufacturing and marketing of these vehicles in Pakistan. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011, the Company produced 50,759 units of vehicles against its capacity based on double shift basis of 54,800 units.
